Covid: Boris Johnson faces questions over self-isolation, as Labour warns of ‘summer chaos’

The prime minister faced questions over whether people should self-isolate if they are pinged by the NHS app, even if they have had two vaccinations.

The government plans to keep that requirement until the middle of August. Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer said that it could cause carnage for businesses if millions are forced to self-isolate over the next six weeks as infection rates continue to climb.
