Court rules second day of nurses strike unlawful

Nurses will have to cut short a planned 48 hour strike in England over the Bank holiday weekend after a court ruled that the second day of action was unlawful.

The Royal College of Nursing described it as the “darkest day” of the dispute so far – criticising the government for “taking its own nurses to court”.
