Countries look for ‘common ground’ on Climate Crisis ahead of COP26

Wildfires are blazing from Sardinia to Siberia – floodwaters are surging through China, India, the Philippines.

Extreme weather is causing severe disruption across the world as ministers from more than fifty countries began a two day meeting in London to prepare for the UN’s climate conference in November.

The COP26 chairman Alok Sharma said the next two days would be crucial – aimed at addressing all the key issues and creating a “vision of unity” around any future agreement at the Glasgow summit.
