COP 27: King Charles hosts reception ahead of climate summit

King Charles has hosted a reception in Buckingham Palace to discuss climate change – inviting world leaders, politicians and environmental experts to gather ahead of the COP27 talks which begin in Egypt on Sunday.

Stressing the huge importance of the climate summit, the UN chief has warned that the world would be doomed unless rich countries signed an “historic pact” with developing nations on climate issues.
