Congresswomen hit back at Trump’s ‘blatantly racist’ comments

Scotland Correspondent

Donald Trump has again denied that his racist tweets are racist.

But the President seems to be uniting the Democratic Party with his attack on the four radical congresswomen known as The Squad, as he repeats his calls on them to “go back” to “the crime-infested places from which they came” if they don’t like it in the US.

At the same time he claims he doesn’t have a racist bone in his body, but even some Republicans have bluntly criticised him and he’s facing a resolution set to be voted on in Congress later that condemns his statements as “racist comments that have legitimised increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of colour”.
