Climate protesters target banks ahead of COP26

Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has joined protesters outside a leading bank in the City of London.

It was part of Day of Action protests in 26 countries around the world demanding that financial institutions stop supporting fossil fuels.

Campaigners are also raising questions about the government’s commitment to wider climate objectives when it comes to future activity by oil and gas firms.
