‘Clap for our carers’: NHS workers tackling coronavirus applauded by public

Heroes is perhaps an overused term these days, but that’s what people are calling NHS workers who are continuing to fight the pandemic.

In just a few minutes people are expected to show their thanks as part of an online campaign called ‘Clap For Carers’.

Our North of England Correspondent Clare Fallon has spent the day on one street in Manchester to see how they’re coping and preparing for tonight.
