China ‘riddled with abusive processes’ says Iain Duncan Smith

One of Myanmar’s neighbours China has been widely criticised for its support of the military in the country, with some claiming it is part of a pattern of the rising power supporting authoritarian regimes.

Former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith co-chairs the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China, is a long-standing critic and has been sanctioned by the Chinese government.
