Care home residents may not be able to see family until December

Many care homes have remained completely shut down throughout the pandemic, while others have been told to go back into lockdown.

One of those affected is Claire Taylor, who has only been able to see her 95-year-old mother in the garden of a care home.

Meanwhile, her husband is also in care with early-onset dementia – and she has not been able to see him since August.
