Cancer patients reveal worries about future treatment as NHS focuses on Covid-19

“It’s taken away my last roll of the dice”. Cancer patients across the country have been telling us they feel abandoned as the health system puts all its focus into dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

With the pressure facing the NHS, some cancer treatments have been cancelled and operations delayed.

And yet cancer patients themselves are at more risk as their immune systems are depleted.
