Harriet Harman is standing in for Labour Leader Ed Miliband who is on paternity leave, but she is no stranger to the dispatch box having filled while the Labour leadership election was underway.

There is lots of material that may feature in today’s PMQs, with unemployment falling by 9,000 in the three months to September to 2.45 million and a European bailout of the Irish economy on the cards.

Shadow Chancellor Alan Johnson’s joke from yesterday may also be repeated. When congratulating Prince William and Kate Middleton on their engagement he said: “If they need a photographer I understand there’s one available”, in reference to the news that David Cameron’s photographer Andrew Parsons is being removed from the public payroll.
