Brexit: UK prepares to leave EU trading rules at 11pm

In just a few hours time, Britain will officially leave the EU’s single market and customs union when the Brexit transition period comes to an end at 11pm.

Industry leaders have warned of administrative chaos as firms struggle to cope with new trading rules and red tape, especially in Kent where lorry drivers will have to provide new customs paperwork from tomorrow.
