Brexit: ‘Grace period’ for supermarket food checks between GB and NI

New checks on goods travelling between Britain and Northern Ireland will be paused to ensure food supplies aren’t disrupted if there’s a no-deal Brexit.

The “grace period” is expected to be three months and will allow supermarkets time to adapt to changes required by the EU.
