Brazil election: Future of Amazon at stake as voting begins

Brazilians are voting today in an election that will have a huge impact on the Amazon.

The current President Jair Bolsonaro has overseen rampant destruction of the vital rainforest.

His rival, the left wing former President known as Lula,  has pledged to protect it.

With Bolsonaro trailing in the polls, there are concerns that violence could flare if he loses.
