Boris Johnson moved to intensive care after his coronavirus symptoms worsen

Boris Johnson has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit at St Thomas’ Hospital after his condition “worsened”. The Prime Minister has asked the Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, to deputise for him where necessary.

Mr Johnson was admitted to hospital on Sunday evening after suffering persistent symptoms of the coronavirus.
