‘Big oil is the new big tobacco’: Harvard professor attacks ‘denial and delay’ tactics of ExxonMobil

We were joined from Massachusetts by Dr Geoffrey Supran, the director of climate accountability at Harvard University and the author of a paper examining the public and private communications from ExxonMobil over the span of 40 years.

We also spoke to Dr Kerry Dinsmore, a chemical pollution expert at Fidra, a charity working to reduce plastic waste and chemical pollution in the environment, who was in Edinburgh, Scotland.
