‘bell hooks was an incredible pioneer’, Emma Dabiri on author and feminist’s legacy

The groundbreaking American author and feminist, professor bell hooks has died at the age of 69.

Through her writings and in the classroom, she helped to transform the debate on feminism, race and class.

We spoke to Emma Dabiri, whose latest book ‘What White People Can Do Next’ was published earlier this year, and asked her what bell hooks meant to her.
