Belarus urged to hold free and fair elections on Sunday

Germany, France and Poland have issued a joint statement urging Belarus to ensure a free and fair election takes place on Sunday.

President Lukashenko is facing his biggest challenge in the 26 years of his autocratic rule.

His regime’s response reportedly has been to arrest his political opponents.
