3mBBC says sorry to Strictly star Amanda Abbington following bullying allegations
The BBC has apologised to the actress Amanda Abbington and upheld her complaints of verbal bullying and harassment by her 2023 Strictly Come Dancing dance partner.
But its six-month investigation cleared Giovanni Pernice of being physically aggressive towards her.
His spokeswoman welcomed the finding, saying he was relieved, while Amanda Abbington called the apology a “vindication” of her complaint.
