Bangladeshi PM hails landslide victory as opponents cry foul

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, has hailed her
landslide victory in yesterday’s elections – dismissing opposition
claims that the vote was ‘farcical’ and marred by intimidation and
ballot rigging.
Hasina’s party won all but a handful of the country’s 300
parliamentary seats to secure a third consecutive term in power. Ed
