Jarring heads

The life of ordinary US Marines is brought to the big screen in Jarhead - but our questions to the director sparked some Hollywood histrionics of his own.
It's a film about conflict in Iraq which claims to say something different about war.
Jarhead - the new offering from Oscar winning director Sam Mendes - follows the story of a young marine sent to the Saudi deserts during the first Gulf War.
The movie sets out to portray his boredom and his terror whilst waiting to fight.
