Maharashtra's chief minister says two British-born Pakistanis are among eight militants arrested by the authorities.

Meanwhile, the British authorities are trying to find out if any Britons were involved in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Latest travel advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office

A group calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen has claimed responsibility, but security officials have also said the planning and scale of the attacks pointed to the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group.
