Brits succeed at Grammy awards

Radiohead, Coldplay, Adele and Duffy are among the British winners at the Grammy awards in Los Angeles.

British performers picked up most of the main awards at last night's Grammies, the most important record industry awards in the US.

The night belonged to former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant. His country album Raising Sand, which he made with the bluegrass singer Alison Krauss, won five awards at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Coldplay and Radiohead both triumphed, and British singers Adele, Duffy and Estelle, also took prizes.

Pop Collaboration With Vocals: Rich Woman, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss

Rock Song: Girls In Their Summer Clothes, Bruce Springsteen
