Arsenal’s Vietnam ‘running man’ goes viral
A young Vietnamese Arsenal fan goes to extreme physical lengths to meet his heroes during their pre-season tour of Asia.
Vu Xuan Tien ran alongside the team bus for several miles as it travelled through Hanoi.
The youngster was so determined to keep up he then hitched a ride on a passing motorbike.
Arsenal’s stars – in the country for a pre-season tour – were clearly impressed and started singing “sign him up” before stopping the bus to let him on.
Once on board, Vu Xuan Tien posed for photographs and got autographs, including one with manager Arsene Wenger.
The subsequent video, narrated by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, has had millions of hits on YouTube.
