2mAmal Clooney resigns as UK envoy over Brexit bill
The human rights lawyer Amal Clooney says she is resigning as the UK’s special envoy on media freedom over what she called the government’s “lamentable” suggestion that it could breach international law over the Brexit withdrawal agreement.
She said it had made her role untenable.
