Al Qaeda hostages released after six years in captivity

It’s a remarkable story two former Al-Qaeda hostages who survived six years in captivity in Mali have finally been freed. They were kidnapped by extremists in Timbuktu in 2011 who demanded a ransom of 10 million euros for each of them. Both have now said they’re not clear if any money changed hands in return for their release.
