Afghanistan Earthquake: Taliban appeal for more aid as death toll rises

In Afghanistan emergency aid is beginning to reach the remote mountainous area which was hit in the early hours of Wednesday morning by a huge 6.1 magnitude earthquake.

Aid efforts are being stifled by impassable roads and poor communication as the Taliban say more than a thousand people have been killed and 1,500 injured.
