Activists call for judicial review of intensive farming to combat another pandemic

Even while we are still dealing with the Covid pandemic, scientists are already worrying about the next one, especially diseases which could leap from animals to humans.

Animal rights activists claim that intensive farming practises risk creating the perfect breeding ground for such diseases to spread and mutate, and they’re going to court to seek a judicial review.

The National Farmers’ Union says farming standards across Britain are some of the best in the world.
