45 events held across the country to call for action on knife crime

Families whose lives have been torn apart by knife crime came together today in more than 40 locations across the country.

Campaigners organised the event under the banner ‘Your City Says No’ to remember those who have lost their lives and promote peace and unity in the community.

At 3pm, a minute’s silence was held in their memory.
