300 staff at one hospital in Nottinghamshire are self-isolating

The so-called ‘pingdemic’ is having an impact on healthcare services. On Monday the guidance on self-isolating for frontline staff changed, meaning it can be replaced with regular testing and other safety measures.

And as infections rise across the country, they like many others are reporting that Covid patients are getting younger. Doctors there are urging people to get vaccinated.
