Opening/closing date & time:

This Competition Registration shall be open daily for entries from 12.30pm until 5pm, through until Thursday 10th December 2020.  After this time the competition will be closed for registrations.  The last competition of 2020 will be played in the programme on Friday 11th December.

How to register for the Competition:

1) Your Twitter profile must be set to public.

2) You must be following the @PackedLunchC4 account

Shortlisting and contacting Players:

Once that day’s Competition Registration has closed, the Producer will randomly select a shortlist of Players from all applications received.  The Producer will Direct Message (“DM”) up to 10 potential Players who are following the @PackedLunchC4 account and ask them to respond by 9am the following weekday with their name, age and contact telephone number.  The Producer will be unable to consider responses received after this time. The Producer will be unable to consider responses received after this time.

In the order that they were originally randomly drawn, The Producer will call those who replied with their contact telephone number in order to confirm their identity and confirm that they are available to play that day’s competition.  The Producer will continue this process until a Player for that day’s competition is confirmed.  A back-up Player, in the event the Player becomes unavailable for that day’s competition, will also be selected. Should the back-up Player not be required, they will need to re-register in the normal way for future competitions.

The Player will be briefed by the Producer not to swear, say anything that could be deemed offensive, defamatory or disrespectful in any way.

We cannot be responsible for any technical issues in relation to any telecommunications or internet network. Once a Player is confirmed and if communication between the Player and studio is lost before they have answered all four questions, they will be invited to play the game in the next programme.  This will be an additional game, so there will be two games played in the following programme.  If the Player has answered any questions correctly before they were cut off, the Player will win the money for each correct question answered, and should any questions remain they will be asked the remaining number of questions in the following programme.

Please note eligibility to play the Competition in the programme and subsequently win the prize is subject to your compliance with these Competition Registration Rules (which include the Competition Terms and Conditions). If you are a winner and The Producer and Channel 4 subsequently discover that you have breached these Competition Registration Rules you will be disqualified from receiving the prize. Our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into.
