Teletext and Channel 4 have joined forces to bring you a great new free service.
Teletext on 4 provides essential programme support information such as contact details, recipes and TV listings, but offers much more besides.
You can also access the latest news, sport, finance, weather and lottery results at the touch of a button.
Constantly updated pages supply the info from your favourite property shows, plus the facts and figures behind Channel 4's science, culture and history programmes.
And if it's entertainment you're after, you can get movie news, interviews with the stars and the up-to-the-minute gossip from shows such as Hollyoaks and the Salon - all without stirring from the sofa!

| The service launched in October on
analogue (non-digital) Channel 4, replacing the old 4Tel/Fourtext service.

Teletext on 4 is now
available on the major digital television platforms –
Freeview and satellite. Eventually, you will be able to access the
service by pressing the “TEXT” button on your remote,
whenever you are watching any Channel 4 programme, including E4 and
FilmFour, via any distribution platform.
Digital terrestrial (Freeview): A full service, accessible via the
“TEXT” button behind Channel 4, launched in December.
Digital satellite (Sky): A full service, accessible via the "TEXT"
button behind almost all Channel 4's channels (including E4, FilmFour
etc but excluding E4 Eire), will launch this week.
