12 year whippersnapper Parke had a rollercoaster ride through this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. He first wowed the judges (and anyone else who was listening) with his rendition of Feeling Good in the auditions, earning him a place in the semi final. He won his semi final with a stirring version of Make You Feel My Love and made his way humbly to the final.
All the while he was the subject of false allegations of having been groomed for the competition by none other than Cowell. Cowell was incensed by this and publicly shouted down the allegations, but it wasn’t enough, and Parke saw his beautiful version of Because Of You not quite do enough to win the competition. Now he gets to sing for 50,000 screaming fans on the beach in Weston: you decide who REALLY won!
