Kev Nish, DJ Verman, J-Splif and Prohgress are the four lads that make up LA based electro hop outfit Far East Movement. They are variously of Japanese-Chinese, Korean, Korean and Filipino descent: which makes a pretty good set of genealogical reasons for the group name. FM (as they call themselves) came to prominence when their single Round Round, from their debut album Folk Music, featured in Hollywood blockbuster The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Since then they’ve smashed it, even getting to number 5 in the UK charts with last year’s internet sensation Like a G6. For the record… a G6 is a private jet, but the private jet in the music video is actually only a G4. Sadly Weston doesn’t have a landing strip so we can’t have the guys making quite the perfect entrance, but rest assured they’ll have you all flying high when they hit the Weston stage.
