In Hollyoaks you play Joel Dexter, long lost son of Warren Fox. What is it like playing the son of a character that is knee deep in dodgy dealings?

Great fun, as Warren's son, Joel has a lot of that in him as well as a more subdued side that Warren doesn't show as much, so it gives me lots to play with as an actor.

Your character has been given the nickname ‘Scottish Foxy' by Brendan Brady. If you had a chance, what would your nickname be for Brendan?

I can't really say what I'd like to call him. If he still has the beard probably ‘knock off Charles Manson' but I guess I can still go for ‘Cheap Freddie Mercury'.

The Hollyoaks website quotes "...if he's anything like his potential father Warren... Be afraid. Be very afraid." Should we indeed be very afraid?

Maybe... ahaha very cryptic I know but we'll just have to see.

Joel is not just a pretty face. He is also a DJ. If Joel's personality could be summed up in song form, which song would it be?

Guess it would have to be ‘A Boy named Sue' by Johnny Cash.

What does the future hold for Joel in 2012?

Lots of big things, ups and downs, potential love interests and definitely more mystery.
