Patkai still on course for Leger |
|
SIR MICHAEL STOUTE has confirmed Patkai to be still in the reckoning for the Ladbrokes St Leger. The Queen's Vase winner had been long-time ante-post favourite for the final Flat Classicof the season, but struggled in the rearranged Great Voltigeur Stakes at Goodwood. Stoute's charge could finish only fourth behind Centennial but nonetheless remains likely to take his chance at Doncaster on September 13.
