St Moritz has been the spiritual home of winter holidays since the early 1900s when British tourists visiting in the summer months were invited back for Christmas
The course is one of overall world champion Stephan Eberharter's favourites; in 2002 he won both the downhill and giant slalom
St Moritz has hosted two Winter Olympics, in 1928 and 1948, and is home to the famous Cresta Run bobsleigh track
The resident population is just 5500, but over 100,000 skiers flock to the resort every winter
St Moritz is home to some of winter sports strangest events including cricket on snow and horse racing on St Moritz Lake
