Gavin Scovell
Londoner Gavin Scovell is the latest addition to the "Skiing on 4" family here at HotHouse Productions, gaining the respect and admiration of others from the very beginning.
A sport fanatic himself, Gavin is about to give the show an extra gear that will bring "Skiing on 4" to an even higher level of excellence.
A fellow student at Exeter, Gavin graduated in Film studies, after transferring to University of California, Santa Barbara for one year.
Although this is Gavin's first TV approach to winter sports, his love for the outdoors and fitness in general is apparent just by giving a quick glance at his CV.
At present he directs Test cricket all year round for Channel 4, working for Sky Sports in New Zealand, India and Sri Lanka. He joined Sunset and Vine in 2000 after 5 years with BSkyB where he moved from interviewing fans outside football grounds during the football premiership, to Producing and Directing live cricket. No need to say that Gavin is a keen cricketer himself who plays for M.C.C, Stoics, Cricket Writers Club and the Woodpeckers.
Gavin is also a keen amateur skier, favouring the powdery American slopes of California and Utah!
As previously mentioned this is Gavin's first time on "Skiing on 4", but hopefully our collaboration with him will grow in the next skiing season to come!
