Gernot Rohr looks certain to find himself under pressure again following Nice's humiliating 4-0 loss away to Nîmes in the Coupe de France Round of 16.

Les Crocodiles had already seen off Ligue 1 sides Ajaccio and Saint-Etienne this season, but whereas those teams were beaten in close games, Nice were blown away by their third-division opponents.

Rohr's visitors ought to have been full of confidence after defeating Monaco at the weekend, but they were a goal down within 19 minutes as Dramane Coulibaly buried the ball inside the post after excellent work from Eloge Enza Yamissi.

Mathias Verschave pounced on Victor Agali's error to double the lead after 35 minutes and Nice went in at half-time with a mountain to climb.

Rohr threw on teenage Brazilian sensation Ederson after the restart, but the 19-year-old picked up a knock almost straight away and had to be replaced by Marama Vahirua.

It seemed to sum up Nice's night and Damien Grégorini was picking the ball out of his net again soon afterwards, when Yamissi turned and fired past him.

Verschave then added a fourth that made a mockery of the two divisions separating these teams, and set up a quarter-final appearance for the giant-killers.

Also through are Ligue 2 side Sedan, who made light work of their opponents from the fourth-division, Quevilly. Markus Sabin opened the scoring for the hosts on 53 minutes and Markus Mokoké settled the tie when he netted in the 75th minute.
