Ligue 2 leaders Sedan suffered a setback in their bid for promotion when they were beaten 4-1 away to Brest in Week 14.

The Wild Boars fell behind in the first half to a Sahnoun strike, but levelled matters after the interval through Sabin. Three goals in the space of 16 second-half minutes then took the match away from Sedan, as another Sahnoun effort plus a Sartre own goal and a fourth from Malm saw Brest home.

Créteil seized the chance to close to within two points in second spot, beating Sète 3-0 at home. Third-placed Bastia also made up some ground after a Camadini brace accounted for Grenoble, while Lorient have gone fourth thanks to a convincing 3-0 success away to Montpellier.

At the other end of the standings, Guingamp remain bottom despite sealing a goalless draw at Reims, while Montpellier and Sète occupy the other two relegation places following their defeats.
