Lens have clearly lost that winning feeling and recorded their sixth straight draw with a 2-2 stalemate at home to Nice.
The visitors were well-organised at the back and soaked up the early pressure well until Damien Grégorini was called into action to keep out Daniel Cousin on 17 minutes. Other than that, Nice were rarely troubled and contented themselves with quick breaks, a tactic that paid off when Sébastien Roudet headed in Mamadou Bagayoko's cross on 29 minutes.
Whatever Francis Gillot said at half-time worked, though, as France international Alou Diarra headed in a thunderous equaliser a minute after the restart. Les Sang et Or promptly went looking for the lead and got it on 57 minutes when captain Jérôme Leroy slid the ball to Olivier Thomert to finish - after Grégorini had initially kept out a shot from Seydou Keita.
It looked as if Lens were about to get their campaign back on track, but Nice boss Frédéric Antonetti pulled off a masterstroke by throwing Souleymane Camara into the fray. The former Monaco man silenced the Stade Félix-Bollaert faithful by levelling the scores with six minutes left to keep his side in 14th.
