Tipped to challenge Lyon for next season’s domestic honours, Paris Saint-Germain lost their second preseason match in a row on Wednesday.
The capital club’s 3-2 defeat to Ligue 2 Créteil follows hot on the heels of their 2-0 reverse at the hands of Bordeaux last weekend.
Goals to Rui Pataca and Moreira and Sissoko were enough to see off a second string PSG deprived of its foreign contingent who replied through Fabrice Pancrate (pictured) and Jean-Michel Badiane.
"There were some good passages," said PSG Coach Laurent Fournier. "But we were a bit slack in defence and not hungry enough in attack."
Meanwhile in Tuesday’s other friendly encounters, Bordeaux beat Spanish giants Valencia in the Stadio Mestalla thanks to Jean-Claude Darcheville’s solitary strike.
Nantes lost 2-0 to Romanian outfit Dinamo Bucharest and Ajaccio were held 2-2 by third division Valence.
In Sweden, Rennes accounted for second division side Trelleborg 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick from last season’s Ligue 1 top scorer Alexander Frei.
