Lachuer started his Ligue 1 career with Auxerre during the early nineties, and was part of the team that won the Championnat in ’96. After a spell at Division 2 club Châteauroux in 96-97, then PSG in 98-99 and Bastia from 99-01, Lachuer returned to Auxerre to help them win the Coupe de la Ligue (French League Cup) in 2003.
