Marseille playmaker Franck Ribéry says he would be delighted if the club can agree a loan deal for Liverpool striker Djibril Cissé during the winter.
Cissé is unhappy with his limited playing time at Anfield and has already expressed his desire to join the Stade Vélodrome outfit if his situation does not improve soon.
"Obviously, he's a very good striker. He's quick and he scores a lot of goals," explained Ribéry. "We don't have a real goalscorer in the team but we tell ourselves that anyone can score.
"It's the club who will take care of [the Cissé situation], though. It's not up to us to say we need to get him. For the moment, we're making do with what we've got and, as a result, we're just we're getting on with it."
On a more personal level, Ribéry admitted it is becoming harder for him to have the same explosive influence he did earlier in the season, even though he has been shortlisted to win a second successive Player of the Month award.
"It's getting difficult because other teams mark me with two or three players," he stated. "The days of one-on-one are over. I'm not the 'boss' - that would be an exaggeration but they're definitely more afraid of me now."
