Ajaccio boss Rolland Courbis is far from optimistic about his team's chances of beating the drop this season.
The Corsicans narrowly avoided relegation under his stewardship last term, but after losing 1-0 to Troyes at the weekend they already find themselves six points adrift of safety.
"There's no point hiding from it, we've got one and three quarter feet in Ligue 2," he railed. "We have no talent. When I look at the teams some clubs have and I don't mean the top five I'm worried.
"Take Troyes. We don't have a [Benjamin] Nivet or a [Christian] Nadé. [Kamel] Chafni is still young, and [Romain] Rocchi can't do everything.
"Whenever I play [Waldir] Lucas and [Kaba] Diawara together, that's when we let in goals."
Ajaccio's real problem at the moment is scoring and they have gone an incredible seven matches without finding the back of the net.
The priority must be to sign a proven goalscorer during the winter transfer window, but before that the islanders must try to reverse their fortunes away to Nice this Saturday.
