Juventus transfer guru Luciano Moggi has confirmed that Bayern Munich’s Willy Sagnol is on his way to Turin.
The France international has been strongly linked with the Serie A giants in recent weeks, with his compatriot Jonathan Zebina expected to be the man to make way.
“We are interested in Sagnol,” Moggi told Dribbling. “If we have the chance to sign him, then we will do so.
"Considering we have a lot of French players in the squad, I suppose he might be eager to join them.”
The right-back's current contract expires at the end of the season and Bayern Munich officials have already stated that they believe he’ll move to Juve on a free transfer.
"It's out of our hands, there’s nothing we can do. We simply cannot compete economically with the Bianconeri," announced Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge last week.
