Bordeaux striker Lilian Laslandes has warned club officials he will request a loan move this winter if he is not guaranteed a first-team place.
The veteran campaigner has made just six starts this term and has made it clear he will seek a club where he will be assured more playing time.
"If I just play 10 minutes from time to time this season, I will lose my rhythm," he said. "And I'll be 35 in 2006, so I need to play.
"If I'm not starting enough games I'll ask the club to be loaned during the winter transfer window, to play regularly for six months somewhere else.
"The idea is that when I come back, I will be at the right level to fulfil the last year of my contract with Bordeaux."
The former Sunderland forward has been linked with Marseille and Strasbourg, but he admits that Ajaccio and Nice are the teams who interest him most.
"If I am loaned, I am attracted by Ajaccio and Nice. I need to feel emotion, defending a shirt and a town. For example, I won't go to Strasbourg even if it is a good club."
