Former Lille defender Benoît Angbwa has joined Marseille on trial and could feature in this evening's friendly against Créteil.
The Cameroon international turned out for the northerners last season while on loan from Nacional Montevideo, but the Uruguayan club have not paid him for several months and he is free to find a new club.
He becomes the third player the Mediterranean outfit have accorded a trial to this winter along with Jérôme Bonnissel and Hamzi Harbaoui.
All three are expected to turn out against Créteil in Lavandou, where they have been training with the rest of Jean Fernandez's squad.
