Back-up Marseille goalkeeper Cédric Carrasso says he has no intention of remaining Fabien Barthez's understudy next season.
The 24-year-old earned rave reviews earlier this season while the France international served a ban for spitting at a referee, but since then he has had to watch his experienced colleague from the sidelines.
"Marseille are my club and I don't want to leave, but if Fabien signs a new contract I don't see myself staying another year," he said.
"If they tell me I have little chance of playing next season I won't stay on as a replacement. That's a certainty."
