Liverpool striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle has been linked with a loan move to Spanish outfit Real Betis.
The former Le Havre player joined the Reds in 2002 when Gerard Houllier was still boss, but has struggled to impose himself in Merseyside.
He has scored just seven goals for the club and his only goal so far this term came against Betis in Liverpool’s 2-1 Champions League win back in September.
After a statement from Betis, it appears as though they will make a straight choice of either Pongolle or Porto striker Helder Postiga.
“We have spoken with the clubs and agents of Postiga and Sinama-Pongolle,” read a statement on their official website.
